Missing Toolbar in Outlook

Issue:

If you have Cloudmark DesktopOne installed, but the toolbar does not appear in your email window, several solutions are possible.

This topic applies to the following email clients:

Solution:

The toolbar doesn't appear: Microsoft Outlook 2003

  1. From Outlook's Help menu, select About Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Click the Disabled Items button.
  3. If Cloudmark Desktop is in the list, select it and click Enable.
  4. Click Close to close the Disabled Items window.
  5. Click OK to close the About window.
  6. Restart Outlook.

The toolbar doesn't appear: Microsoft Outlook 2007

  1. From Outlook's Help menu, select Disabled Items.
  2. In the list that appears, select Cloudmark Desktop.
  3. Click Enable.
  4. Restart Outlook.

The toolbar doesn't appear: Microsoft Outlook 2010/2013 – 32-bit

  1. Navigate to the following folder on your computer:
    • 32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\Cloudmark\Desktop\Clients\Outlook 2010
    • 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cloudmark\Desktop\Clients\Outlook 2010
  2. Close Outlook.
  3. Run the setup program by double clicking on the setup.exe file.
  4. Open Outlook.

    If there still is no toolbar, continue to the next step.

  5. In Outlook click on "File."
  6. From the File menu, choose "Options."
  7. In the Options window, choose "Add-ins."
  8. At the bottom Add-ins window, choose "Disabled Items" from the drop-down menu, and click "Go."
  9. Look for the Cloudmark DesktopOne item. Select it and click "OK."
  10. Restart Outlook.

The toolbar doesn't appear: Microsoft Outlook 2010/2013 – 64-bit

  1. Navigate to the following folder on your computer:

    C:\Program Files\Cloudmark\Desktop\Clients\Outlook 2010

  2. Close Outlook.
  3. Run the setup program by double clicking on the setup.exe file.
  4. Open Outlook.

    If there still is no toolbar, continue to the next step.

  5. In Outlook click on "File."
  6. From the File menu, choose "Options."
  7. In the Options window, choose "Add-ins."
  8. At the bottom Add-ins window, choose "Disabled Items" from the drop-down menu, and click "Go."
  9. Look for the Cloudmark DesktopOne item. Select it and click "OK."
  10. Restart Outlook.
