Automatically scanning for spam and phishing

Cloudmark DesktopOne can automatically filter incoming email before it appears in your email folders. When it finds spam or phishing on its way to your mailbox, it sends those messages to your spam folder. Spam and phishing messages that are caught during automatic filtering will not appear in your regular email folders.

Cloudmark DesktopOne Pro can filter multiple email accounts. It automatically detects accounts that are already configured in a supported email application. You can add more accounts to filter. See Adding email accounts for filtering.

For any email account that is configured in the Accounts window, you can start or stop automatic filtering at any time:

How to start or stop automatic filtering

  1. Open the Accounts window.

    See Using the Accounts window.

  2. Next to any email account, click >"Turn on filtering" or "Turn off filtering".
