About Cloudmark DesktopOne

Cloudmark DesktopOne is a simple, accurate spam-blocker for email that runs independently from your email client. It filters spam, phishing, and email-borne viruses whenever your computer is on, even if your email application is not open. It consists of these components:

The Accounts Control Panel
The Accounts window is where you set up email account that you want to filter, view your filtering statistics, and configure your options.
See Using the Accounts Control Panel for more information.
An email toolbar
If you have one of the supported email applications listed below, DesktopOne installs a toolbar like this one in your email window:
Use the toolbar to manually block and unblock messages. See Using the toolbar.

Email Clients Supported:

  • Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010*/2013
  • Windows Mail (XP and Vista)
  • Outlook Express 6
  • Thunderbird 3 and later

*Supported versions of Outlook 2010: Office Home and Business/Professional (installed from a DVD/CD) 32-bit, 64-bit. For Outlook XP 2002 you need to be running Windows XP SP3.

The following email clients are not supported:

  • Outlook 98-2002
  • Windows Live Mail (Vista, Windows 7 & 8)
  • Windows 8 Mail App
  • Thunderbird 1 & 2
