For most users, the default settings that come with Cloudmark DesktopOne are sufficient. Once you select the accounts you want to filter, you can change these settings to suit your preferences. You access your preferences through the Accounts control panel.
The available preferences vary depending on the type of email account you are filtering:
If your computer is behind an Internet proxy server or firewall, then you must configure DesktopOne to use the proxy. Configuring your firewall settings explains how to do this.
