Manually scanning a folder for spam and phishing

If you have an email account or folder that you prefer not to scan automatically (as explained in automatically scanning your accounts for spam and phishing), you can scan it manually whenever you like.

How to scan a folder manually

1. Select the email folder that you want to scan.
2. Open the Cloudmark menu.
3. Select Scan Folder Now.

   Cloudmark DesktopOne scans the folder, searching for spam and phishing and moving those messages to your spam folder.

   This may take some time, depending on the number of messages in the folder. A folder with only a few messages may take just a few seconds, while a folder with thousands of messages may require several minutes. When scanning is complete, the progress window closes automatically.
