Installing the toolbar for Outlook 2010

If Microsoft Outlook 2010 is installed on your computer when you install Cloudmark DesktopOne, then the installer asks you whether you also want to install the Add-in for Outlook. The Add-in creates a button in your Outlook toolbar that allows you to block or unblock messages, scan a folder, or access your Cloudmark DesktopOne settings.

If you have already installed Cloudmark DesktopOne but the toolbar does not appear in Outlook 2010, then you can install it by running the Cloudmark DesktopOne installer again. Running the installer again won't delete your settings; it only adds the Outlook toolbar. See Installing Cloudmark DesktopOne for instructions on running the installer.

NOTE: The Cloudmark DesktopOne toolbar is not compatible with the Click-to-Run version of Outlook 2010. Follow the instructions below to find out which version of Outlook is installed on your computer.

How to find your version of Outlook 2010

  1. In Outlook, click the File tab.
  2. Click Help.
  3. Under "About Microsoft Outlook", look at the Version value.
    • If it says "(32-bit)" or "(64-bit)" next to the version number, you have the full version of Outlook 2010. You are ready to install the Cloudmark DesktopOne toolbar.
    • If it says "Click-to-run," then you must install the full version of Outlook 2010 in order to use the Cloudmark DesktopOne toolbar. See for instructions.
